The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has declared the results for the Matriculation Supplementary Examination 2023, with a total of 13,275 candidates participating. Chairman Mohammad Adnan Khan and Controller of Examinations Professor Sajid Mehmood Farooqui shared that out of the 13,180 candidates who took the test, 8,654 were male, and 4,526 were female. The overall success rate stood at 37.1%, with female students outshining their male counterparts with an impressive 45.65% success rate compared to 32.62%.
Students can check their results on the board’s website, and an SMS service has been utilized to inform them. For those who did not pass or have compartmental results, there is a positive outlook as they will have the chance to participate in the annual matriculation exams starting from March 1, 2024.
In a move towards increased transparency, the BISE has introduced online submission of admission forms, a process that commenced on November 15.

The overall pass rate for the BISE Matric Supplementary Exam 2023 was 37.1%. This means that out of the 13,180 candidates who appeared for the exam, 4,884 were successful in passing.
Female Students Outperform Male Students

There were a total of 17 students who secured an A+ grade, 96 students who achieved an A grade, 271 students who secured a B grade, 1,094 students who got a C grade, 2,210 students who received a D grade, and 636 students who secured an E grade.
Opportunities for Failed Candidates
Students who did not pass the supplementary examination can appear for the annual matriculation examination in 2024. The registration process for the annual examination is expected to start in November 2023.
