The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam dates for the SSC GD Constable recruitment exam 2024. “The exam is scheduled to take place on February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, and March 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12, 2024. The recruitment notification is expected to be released in November 2023, providing candidates with ample time to prepare for the exam.”
The SSC GD Constable exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the posts of Constable (General Duty) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Assam Rifles (AR).

Eligibility Criteria for SSC GD Constable Exam:-
The eligibility criteria for the SSC GD Constable exam are as follows:
- Class 10 pass from a recognized board.
- Age 18-25 years as on January 1, 2024.
- Candidates must meet the physical standards prescribed for the CAPFs.
The SSC GD Constable exam will consist of a written test, physical efficiency test (PET), and medical examination. The written test will consist of four objective type papers: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English Language. The PET will consist of running, long jump, and shot put. The medical examination will be conducted to ensure that the candidates are physically fit for the job.
