SSC GD Constable 2024 Application Opens Nov 24 for 75,768 Posts! Check Eligibility, Exam Pattern, and Syllabus Details!

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will begin online registration for the SSC GD Constable 2024 exam from November 24, 2023. The exam will be held in February 2024. To be eligible, candidates must be between 18 and 23 years old as on August 1, 2023, have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University, and meet the physical standards as prescribed in the recruitment notification. The exam will consist of four parts: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. Each part will carry 2 marks per question. The selection process will consist of the following stages: Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Examination. Candidates can apply online through the official website of SSC from November 24, 2023 to December 28, 2023.

Negative Marking: 0.50 marks deducted for each wrong answer
Exam Duration: 60 minutes

Analogy, Classification, Series Completion, Number Puzzle, Coding-Decoding, Verbal Reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning, Arithmetical Reasoning, Similarities and Differences, Order and Ranking, Problems Relating to Calendar and Clock, Spatial Visualization, Paper Folding and Cutting, Figure Classification, Embedded Figures
Section 2: General Knowledge and Awareness
Current Events of National and International Importance, History, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, General Science, Computer Science Fundamentals, etc.
Section 3: Elementary Mathematics
Number System, Operations with Fractions and Decimals, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Mensuration, Statistics, Speed and Distance, Time and Work, etc.
Section 4: English/Hindi
Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Precis Writing, Paragraph Writing, Essay Writing, etc.
