The half-yearly examinations for government schools in Uttar Pradesh will begin on November 1, 2023, and will continue until November 10, 2023. The examinations will be held for students of classes 1 to 8.
The decision to hold the half-yearly examinations was taken by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council (UPBEC) in order to assess the learning level of the students and to identify any areas where they need additional support. The UPBEC has also instructed the school authorities to ensure that the examinations are conducted in a fair and transparent manner.

The UPBEC has also issued instructions to the school authorities to ensure that the students are well-prepared for the examinations. The school authorities have been asked to provide the students with adequate time and resources to prepare for the examinations.
