CAT stands for Common Admission Test.It is a national level aptitute test conducted with the purpose of offering admissions in MBA Courses including 20 IIMs and over 1,200 B-schools in India.

What is the Elegibility criteria for CAT 2023?
The Elegibility criteria for CAT 2023 are as follows:
- Graduation from any stream with 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45 per cent aggregate for SC, ST and PWD/DA category) from a recognised university to appear in CAT 2023.
- Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification or awaiting the result are also eligible to apply for CAT 2023 exam.
- Engineering Degree – BTech/ BE candidates can also be eligible for CAT 2023
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories must have scored minimum 45 per cent aggregate in graduation (or equivalent) in any stream
- candidates’ bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is recognized by UGC/AICTE/MHRD-Govt
