B.Sc. (with Chemistry as a subject) OR B.Sc. (Agriculture) followed by two years Post-graduate Associate Course in Fruit and Vegetable Technology from a recognized institute OR M.Sc. (Food Technology)/ M.Sc. (Food preservation)/ M.Sc. (Food Science).
U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘B’, Grade-2 (Chemistry Branch)
Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Science, or Soil Conservation.
U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘B’, Grade-2 (Botany Branch)
Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Botany, Plant Breeding with Genetics, Forestry, or Botany with specialization in Plant Breeding or Genetics.
