The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEAB) released the Karnataka SSLC 2024 hall tickets on March 6, 2024. This development marks a crucial milestone for students preparing to appear in the Karnataka SSLC 2024 Class 10 board exams. Admit cards are now available for collection from respective schools, and schools have been provided access to download them via the official website – kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
In order to facilitate a seamless process, the board has instructed school heads to utilize their school login ID to download the Karnataka SSLC admit cards and ensure their availability to the students. Additionally, schools have been directed to promptly communicate any instances where admit cards have not been issued. To address such cases, schools are required to furnish student details including names and relevant documents such as registration numbers to the board.
It’s worth noting that the Karnataka Class 10 exams are scheduled to commence from March 25 and conclude on April 6. The examination itinerary begins with the first language paper encompassing languages such as Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, English, and Sanskrit. With approximately five lakh students gearing up to undertake the SSLC 2024 exams, meticulous planning and preparation are paramount.

For the duration of the examinations, three hours will be allocated for writing the first language paper and other optional subjects, with an additional 15 minutes designated for reading time. Conversely, two hours and 45 minutes have been allotted for the completion of second and third language subjects. Moreover, students with disabilities will receive an extension of one hour to ensure sufficient time to complete the paper, reflecting the board’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.
In a separate development, the Karnataka High Court recently intervened regarding an order passed by a single-judge bench, which had initially quashed the state government’s notification to conduct board examinations for Classes 5, 8, 9, and 11. The decision was subject to further scrutiny, leading to a stay on the order. Consequently, a two-judge Karnataka High Court bench granted permission for the state government to proceed with the board examinations for Class 5, 8, 9, and 11 as per the original schedule set for March 11.
